Course Synopsis


This course provides a strong foundation for the use of data analytics - It’s very dangerous to provide answers/conclusions if one does not understand the data, where it comes from & its authenticity.


Technology continues to rapidly transform the Audit Activity and it is vitally important that the IA profession keep abreast with these changes. Such a change is the growing need to use Data Analysis to broaden the Audit Universe as well the depth of audits.

Whether you are an Auditor currently wading in technology back-waters or you are currently utilizing Computer assisted tools to undertake audits it is crucial to understand how the source data is originated, structured, manipulated, stored, safe-guarded and utilized to produce meaningful audit information that is trust-worthy.

  • A 1-Hour pre-course online session will be held with delegates on the course and its structure and mode of delivery.
  • Please note that Morning Sessions will be in online mode while Afternoon sessions will be intermittent online/offline to cater for practical work. (it will also save on data costs)
  • Suggest, reserve Day 3 as a contingency at no extra charge.
